Live beta · Your personal news engine

Stay informed.
Without living in the feed.

Hundreds of sources, thousands of stories a day — de-duplicated, translated into your language, and summarized into one digest built for you. On your schedule, not the firehose's.

Convicta News is a free 2-month open beta. Runs as a Telegram Mini App — native Android & iOS apps are coming.
~500K news items fly past every day — most of it noise, half of it the same story twice

The firehose

News flies at you every few minutes — and fragments your whole day.

It arrives at random all day, half of it a story you already saw reworded. You scroll dozens of channels, terrified you'll miss the one that matters — and end the day frazzled, still unsure you caught it.

That low-grade dread of missing something important never switches off.

Why it matters now

Being informed isn't a hobby anymore.

The world went hectic — something breaks every day. In a fast-moving region, or a country where tomorrow can change your life, staying informed is how you protect the people you're responsible for.

You shouldn't have to doom-scroll to learn they might take your passport tomorrow. The digest just tells you — early, before it's a crisis.

every day something breaks that someone, somewhere, needed to know first

The whole point

The point isn't more news.
It's your time back.

A smart summary on your schedule means you stay informed without the anxiety and without living in the feed. Read once, know what to be ready for, and get on with your life. That freedom is the whole product.

Knowing first has always been a paid privilege. Convicta puts that head start in everyone's pocket.

each story — no repeats

From firehose to digest

The whole world's news, in three moves.

We read everything.

1,600+ curated sources — Telegram channels, RSS feeds and X — ingested continuously, de-duplicated so the same story lands once, and translated. Twenty languages.

We filter to you.

Your topics, your included and excluded sources, your own keyword follows, even your own imported feeds. Up to ~500,000 items a day get curated down to what actually matters for you.

You get the gist — on your schedule.

One digest: the three-line summary of what happened and what to be ready for — daily, twice a day or hourly, with quiet hours you set. Read once, and get on with your day.

What the beta feels like

One card. Everything you'd have chased.

Built for you and delivered on your schedule — a morning brief, twice a day, hourly, or your own cadence, with quiet hours so it never rips your day apart. Personal to your profile: your topics, your sources, your keywords, your language.

One clean brief instead of a dozen channels — de-duplicated and summarized, the same story once, foreign-language items translated into yours. What's happening and what to be ready for, in plain language.

Inside today — live in beta

Built to give you the signal, not the noise.

A personal news engine that reads the whole world so you don't have to — and hands you one digest you can trust.

01

1,600+ sources in one feed

Hundreds of Telegram channels plus RSS and X — the breadth of the whole newswire, in one place, so you can close the other twenty tabs.

02

No repeats — ever

Rule-based de-duplication and tagging collapse the same story to a single item. Transparent filtering, not a black-box score.

03

20 languages

Foreign-language posts translated into yours, so a source in another language is never a source you skip. Translation is AI-assisted, warming up during the beta.

04

Personal to your profile

Categories, included and excluded sources, personal keyword follows, and your own imported feeds (OPML). One digest, built for you — what's happening and what to be ready for.

05

AI summaries

The three-line gist of a long story — what happened and why it matters. AI-assisted and metered while it warms up during the beta.

06

Your schedule & quiet hours

Daily, twice a day, or hourly — with quiet hours you set. The news comes to you, when it suits you.

07

Protect what you're responsible for

Early, plain-language warnings on the things that change your life — so you find out from your digest, not from a crisis you scrolled past.

Made for

If missing something important isn't an option.

01

People in fast-moving places

A region in flux, a war next door, a country where the rules can change overnight — you need to know early, not eventually.

02

Anyone who has to stay current

Your work or your responsibilities mean falling behind isn't allowed. Get the picture without giving the feed your whole day.

03

Everyone tired of the dread

If "I might be missing something" runs in the background all day, one trusted digest is how you finally switch it off.

Early beta. Honest about it.

Free for two months. Warming up in the open.

We're onboarding our first users — tell us what's wrong and what's missing. AI-assisted summaries and translations are metered and warming up during the beta, so they may lag. "1,600+ sources" describes breadth, not an accuracy score. What you can count on is the discipline: the same story once, transparent filtering, and a digest that respects your schedule.

Questions

Asked and answered.

What is Convicta News?

A personal, multi-source news engine. It reads 1,600+ sources — Telegram channels, RSS feeds and X — de-duplicates and tags them, translates foreign-language posts into your language, and delivers one digest built for you: your topics, your sources, your schedule. What happened, and what to be ready for.

Where does the news come from?

Hundreds of Telegram channels plus RSS feeds and X — 1,600+ sources today, and growing. You can add your own sources and import your existing feed lists (OPML), so your digest reflects exactly what you trust.

Will I see the same story twice?

No. De-duplication is rule-based — the same story is collapsed to a single item, not a black-box guess. That's the trust angle: no repeats, and transparent filtering you can reason about.

How does personalization work?

Pick categories, include or exclude specific sources, follow personal keywords, and import your own feeds. Then choose your delivery — daily, twice a day, or hourly — and set quiet hours. The digest is assembled for you, not for everyone.

How are the summaries made?

Each story ships with a tight, AI-assisted summary — a few lines instead of a 3,000-word read. Summaries and translations are metered and warming up during the beta, so they'll keep getting better.

Which languages are supported?

Twenty languages today, with more coming. Foreign-language posts are translated into the language you choose — automatic translation is AI-assisted and metered during the beta.

Where does it run — is there a mobile app?

Today Convicta News is optimized for Telegram and runs as a Telegram Mini App (beta), plus a web version in your browser. Native Android and iOS apps are on the roadmap.

What does it cost?

Free for your first two months during the beta. After that, keep the Free tier (a curated world-wires preview) or go News+ at $6/mo ($60/yr) — annual gives you 2 months free. Payment is via CryptoPay. Nothing charges automatically.
